Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
AccessCPD ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address when you join our waitlist.
- Members (once launched): your name, email address, professional body or registration type, your course progress and assessment results, the CPD records you choose to add, and your certificates.
- Payments: payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider. We don't receive or store your full card details.
- Website use: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.
Why we collect it
We use your information to send you updates about AccessCPD (if you joined the waitlist), provide your account and courses, issue and store certificates, show your CPD totals and gaps, send episode and reminder emails, process payments, and respond to your enquiries. We won't sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run AccessCPD, such as website hosting (Cloudflare), our mailing list (MailerLite), email delivery and payment processing. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the European Union and the United States. We only share what each provider needs to deliver its service. We don't share your CPD records with your professional body or employer unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Professional bodies may ask members to produce CPD evidence for several years after an activity, so we keep certificates and CPD records for at least seven years unless you ask us to delete them. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each email.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@accesscpd.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please email us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as AccessCPD grows. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
